Sharon W, Chicago, IL: 10/14/08: I am ecstatic with my newly renovated bathroom. I was quite pleased with the materials and equipment that Ira presented to me and from which I made choices. This was much better than aimlessly wandering around a variety of stores such as Home Depot or Lowes. Elite completely gutted the bathroom and rebuilt it in the time predicted. The workmanship was of the highest order. Every evening, the workers cleaned and cleared the area adjoining the bathroom. Family and friends agree that my new bathroom is simply beautiful. I am particularly enjoying the whirlpool bath and the heated floors. I would recommend Elite in a heartbeat.

Mark & Vanna, Chicago, IL: I had my kitchen remodeled, complete gut (new electric, walls, plumbing, sub floor, etc) by Elite Home Builders this summer of 2008. When looking for a contractor, I asked 6 people I knew that had their kitchen remodeled. They all told me horror stories and did not recommend their contractor. So you can see, I was leery of doing this. I started out with setting up meetings with 10 contractors. I choose Elite because the effort, honesty, and down to earth personality of the owner Ira. Even before I decided what contractor I was going to sign with, Ira accommodated me and my wife every time I asked for another meeting with him to discuss the details or price of the kitchen. Ira even set up a meeting so I could meet his foreman and electrician so that they could tell me exactly how they would do the work I wanted. Ira told me exactly what the price would be, and kept to it, within my budget. I like to mention the crew that was doing the work. Robert the foreman, Peter, Ziggy, & Januz. All were great, polite, clean and did excellent work. Even when I had them change things over & over because I didn't like the look, they always accommodated me with no hassle what so ever. I also would like to mention that during the project, Ira gave me his cell number & his foreman's Robert cell number, so I could call them with questions and concerns. They always returned my calls, even at 10pm at night and on Sundays. I never had a contractor do that, ever. The kitchen turned out FANTASTIC. Me & my wife are very happy and the experience with Ira & his workers was great. I would highly recommend Elite Home Builders to anyone and will definitely hire them again.

Virgina W., Chicago, IL: Elite Home Builders remodeled my kitchen. I had two estimates from other contractors and was very apprehensive until I talked to Ira! He made everything very clear and concise and created a budget so that I new in advance exactly what the project would cost. Peter, the foreman was extremely creative and very caring. It was evident that he took great pride in his work. He and John did an amazing job. They were completely reliable and sensitive to all my needs. Both Ira and Peter took me shopping for all the components in the kitchen. What more can anyone ask for! I can only recommend them highly!

Nancy & Tim, Chicago, IL: This was our second experience with Elite and, just as the first time around, they were great. We are thrilled with another beautiful bathroom! Robert and his team were thorough and conscientious throughout the job. Having alot of pets in the house created some stress for us, but everyone was respectful of keeping doors closed and therefore keeping our pets "IN". One of the best testimonials we can give is regarding Ira's follow-up and always informing us if there was a better or less expensive option. Having someone as concerned about our budget as we are is really important. In the end, once again, there were areas where we were able to reduce costs and for that we are thrilled! This will not be the last time we hire Elite. Job well done!

Nancy, Chicago, IL: Ira, Robert, Peter, and the rest of the crew were fantastic! We LOVE our new kitchen and two bathrooms! When initially meeting with Ira to discuss our remodeling, he was very helpful and suggested some ideas that we had not considered, such as making our master bathroom shower a little bigger than it was and how we could match the marble in the bathroom with a natural stone for the shower. Wow! He even suggested we lengthen the center kitchen counter so we could have an additional seating. Again, wow! Obviously, we are very pleased with our new place! Working with Ira and his crew was easy. Ira kept us informed of every detail of the remodeling and followed up with us after each step. Ira and his crew demonstrated a consistently high level of professionalism and expertise throughout our remodeling process. We would definitely work with them again and recommend them to anyone! Nancy & Tim, Chicago, IL: The first time we spoke with Ira we were impressed. He was easy to talk to and explained everything thoroughly. This was our first of many remodel projects on our 80 year old Chicago 2-flat. We had a bathroom installed in the basement. It was a HUGE job and required lots of plumbing work including replacing the original main water line from the outside water source as well as relocating gas and electrical lines. Robert, Peter and the entire crew were incredible. They have a strong work ethic and were timely and thorough in everything they did. Ira's follow-up and contact with us ensured a timely completion and kept us under budget on the project. We are extremely pleased with our new bathroom and would not hesitate to recommend Elite to anyone. We'll be seeing them again soon for our next project.

Erica, Chicago, IL: We hired Elite Home Builders previously to remodel our kitchen, so we didn't think twice about hiring them a second time to completely remodel our newly purchased condo in a mid-rise building. They are always friendly and easy to communicate with. The project was large, redo 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, reposition walls, and all new flooring. Due to the size of the project, the timing took longer than planned, as there was alot to coordinate. However, we were able to stay on budget, with Ira providing constant updates on the financial status of the job. The quality of the work was outstanding and we were able to incorporate every detail that we wanted. Robert, the foreman, went over and above to make sure the quality was top-notch. Months after the project was completed, they were willing to come back and re-touch areas that had "settled" at no additional fee. The Elite team helped give us our dream home and we would hire them again!

The shower was completely gutted and redone along with the installation of a pocket door. The project did take slightly longer than originally planned but the end result was worth it.
